Bobbi grew up in Connecticut and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. In 1965 she became an international flight attendant and wrote about her airline experiences in Behind the Smile. Her latest memoir, Darien Waters, is about growing up in the 40s and 50s, and won a national first-place gold medal from Feathered Quill Book Reviews. Another one of her recent books is the memoir Sky Ranch: living on a remote ranch in Idaho. Bobbi also lived in Iran and visited India and Nepal, and wrote of her experiences in Black Empress.
She served twice as the President of the Authors Guild of Tennessee.
