ebook Downloads
Electronic books and magazines are available through the Tennessee R.E.A.D.S. (Regional ebook & Audiobook Download System) program. By using the Libby or OverDrive app and your library card you can download anytime, anywhere!
When you try downloading a popular or new ebook through R.E.A.D.S., you often see it has numerous holds. This is because the TN State Library System manages the READS program for all Tennessee libraries. However, our library purchases ebooks that we own and it gives our patrons first priority over the downloading of these items. This reduces the number of holds on popular books.
When searching our catalog, if you see a title that states “electronic book”, this is one of our ebooks that we purchased. It can be downloaded from the TN READS System.

DVD Rentals
The library's DVD collection offers over 600 titles for our patrons.
The newer DVDs rent for two nights for $2 and the older DVDs rent for one week for $2.
Frequent renters may wish to purchase a coupon for $20 that is good for 12 rentals of either DVDs or audio books. Ask for details at the Circulation Desk.
Efforts are made to buy the popular DVDs as soon as they are released for sale. DVD purchases are funded by the Friends of the Tellico Village Library.
Educational DVDs
Many of these educational DVDs have been provided by grants from the Jane L. Pettway Foundation. The educational DVDs cover a wide range of subjects: Biography, Health and Wellness, The Heartland Series, History, Religions, Science and Technology, Sports, and Travel. These DVDs can be checked out for two weeks and are free of charge. However a fine will be assessed if they are not returned by the due date.
Children’s DVDs
Age appropriate educational DVDs are available in the Children’s area. These are available for a one week check out at no charge. Other entertainment DVDs for children are also located in the same area. DVDs with a G or PG rating are located with the main DVD collection.
