Stephen Lyn Bales is nature historian and retired educator/naturalist from Ijams Nature Center. He is also the author of three nature books: "Natural Histories," "Ghost Birds" and "Ephemeral by Nature" and has also written over 600 nature related magazine and newspaper articles and columns in the past 30 years. Stephen is a member of the Authors Guild of Tennessee.
