The Journey of Sacagawea

Part history, part mystery ~ although little is known about Sacagawea, her story has captivated many over the years. Our program explores the life and legend of this Lewis and Clark heroine as told through the rich oral history of the Shoshone, Hidatsa, Mandan and the Nez Percé tribes, as well as the historical accounts taken from the journals of Meriwether Lewis, William Clark, and other Corps of Discovery members. Join historian Joseph Blanco for this colorful multimedia show utilizing the words of Sacagawea as told through friends and family members as well as the explorers.
