In 1803, President Thomas Jefferson dispatched Meriwether Lewis and William Clark to explore the uncharted territory of the west. He expected they would encounter woolly mammoths, erupting volcanoes, and a northwest passage to the sea. What they found was no less mind-boggling. Historian Joseph Blanco leads this multimedia program re-creating the expedition with stories from his tour guide experiences at the Lewis & Clark National Park.
Program fee of $5 due to Joseph at time of class.
